LAB:SYNC’s Dr. Aston K. McCullough will present new findings from a recent study on the relationship between kinematic features of human movement and state curiosity at the Learning & Plasticity conference 2024. In his talk, “Dance-like state detection and curiosity: A pilot study on artful movement and mindfulness,” McCullough will discuss a new algorithm that uses sensor data to quantify movement characteristics as correlates of curiosity in adults. The conference will take place in Äkäslompolo village, Finland between April 14 and 17.
